2026–2027 Class Schedule - Mount Pleasant
Classes begin August 18th, 2026
Vital Mathematics classes meet once per week in intentionally small, grade-level cohorts. Each 60-minute session follows a consistent three-part framework of focused instruction, exploration, and independent practice, with rich mathematical discussion and problem solving throughout. Placement conversations ensure appropriate grade-level alignment.
Vital Mathematics follows the academic calendar of the Charleston County School District.

Enrollment is limited to maintain intentionally small class sizes. New students are admitted as space allows.
Vital Mathematics Math Games Club - Daniel Island Recreation Center
Beginning Fall 2026, Vital Mathematics is proud to partner with the Daniel Island Recreation Center to offer Math Games Club, an engaging introduction to mathematical thinking through games, movement, and collaborative problem solving. Grounded in principles of the internationally respected Singapore approach, these sessions help students develop number sense, reasoning, strategic thinking, and mathematical confidence.
Participants will:
Strengthen number sense and mathematical reasoning
Develop language, communication, and metacognitive thinking through mathematical discussion
Build critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
Communicate and defend mathematical ideas with peers
Build confidence through productive struggle and success
